Robbie spoke about how his work with Soccer Aid to support Unicef had changed his own perceptions when it comes to youngsters.

“It’s the vulnerability of the kids, really,” he says.

“It makes you feel very lucky to have the life we do. Becoming a dad-to-be has changed my perception.

“I didn’t realise it was going to until it did. It’s overwhelming.

“We watched a video about what Unicef does and I felt myself tearing up, in a way I wouldn’t have done in the past.

“It definitely pulls on the heart-strings even greater now that I know I’ve got this responsibility.”
